CQC-Regulated Excellence
The Providence Projects is proudly regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), giving you peace of mind that our services meet rigorous standards of safety, clinical effectiveness, and quality of care. Our commitment to excellence is continuously reviewed and upheld by independent inspection.
Full Medical Detox
Upon admission, every client is assessed face-to-face by a specialist addictions doctor who will prescribe a medically appropriate detox plan tailored to your needs. This ensures a safe, comfortable, and closely monitored withdrawal from alcohol or drugs. Throughout the detox process, you’ll receive 24-hour supervision and support, with a high staff-to-client ratio to guarantee your wellbeing at every stage.
Location
Providence Projects is located close to seven miles of beach in Bournemouth. The outdoor environment provides opportunities for walks, reflection, and recreational activities, which can be incorporated into the recovery programme.
Home from Home
All clients at The Providence Projects are provided with private, single-room accommodation, no sharing required. Each room is fully equipped with the amenities you’d expect at home, including full Wi-Fi access. Our communal kitchens enable you to prepare meals and share conversations around the table with peers, fostering connections and reinforcing a real-world living environment.
The Programme
With over 30 years of experience, our intensive programme is built on the latest evidence-based practices to help break the cycle of addiction. Our expert therapy team supports clients not only in addressing substance misuse but also in working through core issues such as self-esteem, anxiety, relationships, stress management, relapse prevention, family dynamics, and more, equipping you with the tools to build lasting recovery.
Extended Care
Research consistently shows that longer stays in treatment lead to better long-term outcomes. That’s why we offer flexible programmes ranging from 4 to 24 weeks. Most clients begin with our 28-day programme and have the option to extend on a pay-as-you-go basis, depending on their progress and individual needs.
