During his tenure in the National Health Service (NHS), Dr. Martin served as a Consultant Psychiatrist for over a decade, specialising in General and Old Age Psychiatry. In 2010, he embarked on an independent practice journey and currently holds the esteemed position of Consultant at The Priory Hospital Roehampton. Furthermore, he maintains outpatient practices in Central London and St. Margaret's, near Richmond.
In addition to his professional affiliations, Dr Martin is an active member of the Royal Society of Medicine and the Medical Protection Society.

Dr. Ian Martin, a general adult psychiatrist with a sub-specialism in older adult psychiatry, specialises in the treatment of cognitive disorders such as dementia, as well as mood disorders like depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, panic disorder, OCD, and psychosis.
